Kayla is an incredibly talented designer whose ambition is to become a full time artist. Having been a finalist in the World of WearableArt® show nine times and the winner of the 2024 Aotearoa award for her design Karearea, Kayla’s first creative memories are from kindergarten, and she hasn’t stopped creating things since.

Like many young mums, life with a toddler and family is a balancing act, so Kayla pursues her ambition late in the evenings once the family are asleep. You’re inspiring Kayla!
