Stewardship and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration are integral to Fisher Funds’ investment approach. We’re proud to have been a founding signatory of the Aotearoa New Zealand Stewardship Code in 2022.
Our first Stewardship Report outlines how we manage our Stewardship responsibilities and commitments. As long-term investors, we believe that knowing the companies we invest in, actively engaging with them and using our voting power are key to delivering strong returns for our clients.
How we use proxy voting to influence the companies we invest in
At Fisher Funds, we recognise our responsibility to influence the Boards and management teams of the companies that we invest in. The report gives examples of how we have used proxy voting to support resolutions that benefit our clients and vote against resolutions that we think are unfair.
A milestone year for environment transparency
This year has been an important year for environmental transparency. Alongside this Stewardship Report, we also published our first Climate Statements. We encourage you to explore both documents and learn more about our commitment to a sustainable future.
