Today Fisher Funds is welcoming two new TSB Community Trust appointee Directors to the Board, Guy Roper and Jennifer Moxon.
Guy has been CEO of Port Taranaki since 2015 and is also a Trustee of the TSB Community Trust. Guy has previously held a number of international directorships within the dairy industry and was a Trustee of the Dairy Industry Superannuation Fund for 8 years. Guy lives in New Plymouth.
Jennifer is a professional Director having previously had a career for over 30 years at IBM, including terms as CEO IBM New Zealand, Vice President Digital and Cloud Australia/NZ and Vice President Industries Australia/NZ. Jennifer lives in Blenheim.
Both Guy and Jennifer bring a broad range of skills that will enhance the governance of Fisher Funds and support the company’s continued growth focus.
Today is also an end of an era. Carmel Fisher has retired as a Director and that brings an end to the amazing 20-year ownership, executive and governance time at Fisher Funds since founding the business in 1998. Carmel sold her remaining shares in Fisher Funds in 2017, but had stayed on as a Director to ensure a successful transition of the business to the new controlling shareholder, the TSB Community Trust. Carmel’s legacy will live on at Fisher Funds long into the future.
These changes are all effective today 31 July 2018.
Any questions on these changes can be directed to Chairman David Clarke, or CEO Bruce McLachlan.
