    Congratulations to Ian Bernhard, winner of the Fisher Funds New Zealand Design Award in the 2024 World of WearableArt® Competition for his incredible design – The Red Thread.

    Ian was inspired by East Asian folklore, in which the gods tie the red thread to the little fingers of two souls, connecting them and linking them. This thread may tangle and twist but will never break.
